Terrorists with bomb kill 2 Israeli soldiers, 3rd in critical condition

Last night the IDF discovered a group of Gazan terrorists trying to infiltrate the border with bombs. IDF soldiers gave chase and in the ensuing firefight, the terrorists set off the bomb, killing an IDF officer and a soldier. Doctors are fighting to save the life of a 3rd soldier critically injured. He is undergoing surgery and connected to a respirator but his injuries are severe. A 4th soldier, a beduin tracker, was more lightly injured and is being treated in the same hospital. Islam channel in U.K. chief on interpol wanted terrorist list, channel promoting extremist views

Deep concern has arisen over the material regularly presented on Britain’s the Islam Channel, the most-watched satellite channel by Muslims. Programming was monitored for three months: Report author Talal Rajab said: ‘Unfortunately during the three month period that we monitored its output, it repeatedly promoted bigoted and reactionary views towards women, non-Muslims and other Muslims who follow different versions of Islam.

Qassam rocket hits farm on outskirts of Ashkelon

It just never ends does it? Last week militants in Gaza launched a rocket into Israel that killed an agricultural worker. On Saturday four rockets emanating from the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave landed in Israel’s Negev region. Another Qassam landed in Palestinian territory near the Kissufim Crossing. Saturday saw a rocket land near a kibbutz located within Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council limits. I posted yesterday afternoon that “at least no rockets today” …guess I spoke too soon. Last night a Qassam rocket was fired all the way to the outskirts of the city of Ashkelon, landing on a farmer’s land.

Terror attack thwarted, two attackers killed

Two Palestinians near West Bank village of Awarta attempted to attack IDF soldiers manning a checkpoint with a pitchfork and a razor-sharp broken bottle. As they shouted and waved the weapons, fighters from the Nachshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade shot the Palestinians to death. A military official said the two had the intention and means to harm the soldiers, who acted according to procedures.
Also some 100 Palestinians clashed with security forces near the Gush Etzion settlement of Tekoa this morning. The rioters hurled stones at the forces, who used crowd dispersal means to break up the group.

Four rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza today

Unprovoked attacks on civilians in Israel are again increasing, with at least four rockets being shot at kibbutzim, Moshavim, and Israeli cities such as Sderot and Ashkelon , today. There are no military targets within the region and the rockets are landing in and about wholly civilian neighborhoods. Yesterday there were more rocket attacks. On Thursday, two days ago, a rocket attack on Southern Israel killed a poor foreign worker, father of 4 young children, who was in Israel working to try to support his family in the agricultural sector.

Qassam from Gaza kills 1 in Southern Israel

Breaking: rocket fired from Gaza hits Israeli territory for third time in last 24 hours and kills a greenhouse worker. The rocket exploded inside a greenhouse in Netiv Ha’asara, causing it and adjacent greenhouses severe damage. Magen David Adom emergency units rushed to the scene and tried desperately to resuscitate the man but unfortunately his injuries were too severe and they had to prounounce him dead on the scene.
The attack marks the third time rockets have been fired into Israeli territory in the last 24 hours.
